Meet Rick Torbett

Coach Rick Torbett, founder of Better Basketball and creator of the Read & React Offense, has dedicated over 40 years to transforming players and teams of all levels.

During his two decades coaching high school teams, Coach Torbett developed systematic methods for mastering shooting, ballhandling, passing, and other essential skills. His expertise attracted players of all ages and skill levels, including All-American and All-Conference athletes preparing for NBA tryouts.

Coach Torbett’s unique combination of personal experience, innovative methods, and a deep commitment to the game has made him a trailblazer in player development, inspiring athletes and coaches to reach their full potential.
